Ya se ha puesto en marcha la campaña de vacunación de la gripe de este año. Como siempre, desde la FARMACIA CUENCA, os animamos a vacunaros para evitar la enfermedad este invierno. Las vacunas las ponen de manera gratuita en el ambulatorio, o se pueden comprar (con receta médica) en la farmacia.
Se puede vacunar todo el mundo, pero el Ministerio de Sanidad recomienda a determinados colectivos que se vacunen. Vamos a ver cuales son:
- Todas las personas de 60 años o más. Se hará especial énfasis en aquellas personas que conviven en instituciones cerradas.
- Personas menores de 60 años que presentan un alto riesgo de complicaciones derivadas de la gripe:
- Niños/as (mayores de 6 meses) y personas adultas con enfermedades crónicas cardiovasculares (excluyendo hipertensión arterial aislada), neurológicas o pulmonares, incluyendo displasia bronco-pulmonar, fibrosis quística y asma.
- Niños/as (mayores de 6 meses) y personas adultas con:
- enfermedades metabólicas, incluida diabetes mellitus.
- obesidad mórbida (índice de masa corporal ≥40 en adultos, ≥35 en adolescentes ó ≥3 DS en la infancia).
- insuficiencia renal.
- hemoglobinopatías y anemias
- asplenia.
- enfermedad hepática crónica.
- enfermedades neuromusculares graves.
- inmunosupresión (incluida la originada por la infección de VIH, por fármacos o en los receptores de trasplantes).
- cáncer.
- implante coclear o en espera del mismo.
- trastornos y enfermedades que conllevan disfunción cognitiva: síndrome de Down, demencias y otras.
En este grupo se hará un especial énfasis en aquellas personas que precisen seguimiento médico periódico o que hayan sido hospitalizadas en el año precedente. - Niños/as y adolescentes, de 6 meses a 18 años, que reciben tratamiento prolongado con ácido acetil salicílico, por la posibilidad de desarrollar un síndrome de Reye tras la gripe.
- Mujeres embarazadas en cualquier trimestre de gestación.
- Personas que pueden transmitir la gripe a aquellas que tienen un alto riesgo de presentar complicaciones:
- Trabajadores de los centros sanitarios, tanto de atención primaria como especializada y hospitalaria; pública y privada. Se hará especial énfasis en aquellos profesionales que atienden a pacientes de algunos de los grupos de alto riesgo anteriormente descritos.
- Personas que por su ocupación trabajan en instituciones geriátricas o en centros de atención a enfermos crónicos, especialmente los que tengan contacto continuo con personas vulnerables.
- Estudiantes en prácticas en centros sanitarios.
- Personas que proporcionen cuidados domiciliarios a pacientes de alto riesgo o mayores.
- Estudiantes en prácticas en centros sanitarios.
- Personas que proporcionen cuidados domiciliarios a pacientes de alto riesgo o mayores.
- Personas que conviven en el hogar, incluidos niños/as mayores de 6 meses de edad, con otras que pertenecen a algunos de los grupos de alto riesgo, por su condición clínica especial (citados en el punto 2).
- Otros grupos en los que se recomienda la vacunación:
- Personas que trabajan en servicios públicos esenciales, con especial énfasis en los siguientes subgrupos:
- Fuerzas y cuerpos de seguridad del Estado, con dependencia nacional, autonómica o local.
- Bomberos.
- Servicios de protección civil.
- Personas que trabajan en los servicios de emergencias sanitarias.
- Personal de instituciones penitenciarias y de otros centros de internamiento por resolución judicial.
- Personal con exposición directa a aves o a cerdos en granjas o explotaciones avícolas o porcinas y también a aves silvestres. La finalidad es reducir la oportunidad de una infección concomitante de virus humano y aviar o porcino, disminuyendo la posibilidad de recombinación o intercambio genético entre ambos virus.
- Personas que trabajan en servicios públicos esenciales, con especial énfasis en los siguientes subgrupos:
